I purchased a Vista Cruise universal cruise control for my 2010 vfr1200, and was totally england travel tour not happy with it. It took some modification of the cruise control bracket england travel tour to wedge it in there, it took up too much room on the throttle grip, and worst of all, it was too large in diameter so it wouldn't hold the throttle england travel tour tight enough to even work as advertised no matter how i adjusted it. I removed it immediately.
Try emailing customer care at the address on the package. In my experience, england travel tour they are pretty good and responsive. They once sent me thinner filler strips because the ones they supplied with the kit didn't work. I was surprised at how quickly they got back to me. It's worth a try
With my foam grips it never held the throttle just right. So with this zip-tie england travel tour (yes its redneck) im able to up the TQ on the cruse control. It takes some effort to enable but one set i good. I dont use it all the time, more so when I know im going to be holding england travel tour steady speed for 10min plus.

My Throttlemiester came with new bar weights AND the end pieces themselves are even heavier than he stock units. I put one on my 5th gen and it did not change the vibes and if anything it got better. Food for thought....

I recall england travel tour reading a post of a Throttlemister review ( I cant recall if here of the other VFR forum) on a 7th gen, and the person said they liked it but it did have more vibration than the OEM. That was not a big deal to them.. For me it is.
I've had the throttlemeister and found it awkward to use as it took two hands to set. I couldn't england travel tour hold a steady speed and twist the end of the bar to lock the throttle so I used my left hand to hold the throttle while setting the meister with my right hand. Not the best set up if you ask me.

+1 on both counts. I find the Throttlemeister to be awkward to use. But have a Vista Cruise on my 125 and have used it for thousands of miles with great results. They usually do take a little filing and fiddling england travel tour to get right, but sure get the job done once set up. Better than the Go-Cruise, but the Go-cruise is a ten second install with no mods. Good enough for now.
I did that for years. Now I can actually spare the twenty bucks and the GC looks far less cheezy, although no more effective. In fact, the friend who told me about the Go Cruise said You won't believe this, but somebody patented your coat hanger cruise control! england travel tour ;-}

I did use the rubber filler england travel tour ring that came with the kit on the VistaCruise, but it still wasn't thick enoough no matter how i installed it or how much i tightened the little allen setscrews. The thing is, even if it did work, it really takes up too much grip space, and even with my not large hands, it was uncomfortable to grip the throttle. After all, i will be spending 98% of my time gripping the throttle, and only 2% of the time in cruise control mode so it has to be comfortable to grip for me. Having said that, even if it did work (which it didn't), i still would have removed it.
You only have to fab a bracket from the OEM brake lever mounting bolt to the L-Bracket on the unit to clear the throttle cables. I had this unit on my 04 and a chain master england travel tour link worked great. On this bike I have a piece of aluminum bracket that I fab'd up since the distance is increased.
