Lavish Finca Cortesin Hotel Golf Club is located on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, the Costa del Sol aka Costa del Golf. The hotel's palatial design is inspired los angeles used cars by traditional Andalusian architecture and gives every area a big, bright and luxuriously spacious feel.
We re not new to impressive hotels but at our arrival we were still a bit intimidated by all the splendor and bells and whistles. Eventually we fell in love with their amenities, i.e. if you care for a bathroom larger than your living room, you ve come to the right place!

You will look in vain for the car park, simply drive up to the entrance and let the complimentary valet parking do the rest for you. The property is impeccable and the warm welcome you get from the staff topped with their excellent service is overwhelming! Instead of the usual administrative hassle at arrival they show you to their terrace and garden and offer a glass of white wine along with ham and cheese. May the pampering begin! So far only Thailand s Rayavadee Resort got the reception equally well.

We were granted an upgrade to a very unique suite. With a little kitchenette, a living room, a bedroom and a HUGE bathroom this suite could easily be larger than the size of our flat! Very generous suites with huge bathrooms the size of our own living room
The contemporary interior design is hold in grey, crème, and white with coloured highlights. Only the finest furniture elements and fabrics have been used. And every suite has a private garden or terrace! It leaves you with the tough choice of which table to use to unpack your laptop or read their travel magazines. The room rates may not be the cheapest around, but they re definitely good value for money! We didn t try out Schilo, but had dinner at El Jardin, which we can highly recommend, too. And here again; beside the delicious and tasty food we were impressed with the kindness and the courtesy of the service staff. When we were seated the friendly waiter even brought a little velvet stool for my cumbersome DSLR camera! Never ever happened to my camera so far
We should also mention the breakfast (which is served a la carte at El Jardin): delicious, varied, tasty and with the usual nice weather you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace with a fantastic view; breakfast in paradise , I guess? Finca Cortesin Golf Club is ranked as one of the best courses in Spain and of all the various courses we ve played in Spain we would definitely rate it as one of the finest ones. Extremely well maintained fairways and (tough) greens
On our trips we rarely return to the same place twice. los angeles used cars Not because it was not good but because we might be missing out on another great place. The green fee comes at a whopping los angeles used cars €170 and (fairly new Taylor Made) rental clubs add up €56, the golf buggy another los angeles used cars €47. Phew, not exactly the price you would look at for a daily round of golf. But, man, is it worth the money! Every and last aspect of your round is catered for, staying on the fairways is like walking on cotton. All you need to do is properly swing the clubs.
The challenging layout by Finca Cortesin golf course architect Cabell Robinson from 2006 is simply spectacular. It is not only home to the European Tour Volvo World Matchplay Championship but its great variety of natural vegetation including olive trees and corks everywhere in the course allows even amateur los angeles used cars golfers to enjoy a reasonable los angeles used cars round of golf. Now golf is actually always torture, no matter how well you play, you could always have saved a stroke or another somewhere. We absolutely recommend hiring a buggy . Not only because of the distance (with more than 7,000 meters it is one of the longest golf courses in Europe!) but also because of all the amenities that come with it, e.g. a GPS system with distance indication of holes, hazards and other buggies (and a red button los angeles used cars to call the restaurant and order food beverage). travelmemo.com s Katja getting ready for the speedy go-cart style golf buggies
These buggies may look like standard buggies to the unused eye, but I suppose they are powered los angeles used cars by Mc Laren or some similar outlet since they are the quickest we ever tried. As per usual, prior to departing for the round you check in at the clubhouse bar to ask for water and fruits to take along. As they tell you with a smile that it is all included in the buggy you happily take to tee one. Eventually you will find that there is indeed a cooler box with plenty of fresh water but actually no fruits. Yet before you can wonder too long the fruit buggy will cross your path and bring the promised fruits to everybody. How cool is that!
