i know he tried to programme something else so if you can't go into the instrument panel , i presume

Hi i have a 07 a4 2.0tdi black edition.I retrofitted cruise control but can't get it to work.The stalk is an origonal kit i bought from the dealers and fitted it myself and im a mechanic.The rental cars france slak plugged directly into the steering module and im told this will be the correct one as my car has steering wheel switches.The guy programmed it using the 11463 coding but its still not working.He tried numerous times but it wouldn't have it and this guy runs his own vag specialist garage and has worked at audi and and audi specialist before he set up on his own so i presume he knows what he's doing.The engine ecu is seing the signals being sent from the cruise stalk but nothing lights up on the instrument panel.When your driving and you turn the cruise on the car bring the engine managent light on and the traction control light flashes on and off and the power is limited.The fault logged is a throttle pedal sensor fault but the car has never logged this fault before and only happens when the cruise stalk is put in the on position.The rental cars france fault goesa away when the ignition is re-cycled.pLEASE HELP !

im not posative my steering ecu supports cruise but i just got the general impression that if you had a multi functional steering wheel then it would work.I got the stalk from audi and done to my chassis number and the guy that tried to programme it gave me another to try and it is the same part number as mine
ye when you push it away its off , towards is on (thats when the warning light comes on) and again is resume.i can't post a scan sorry i dont personally have anything to talk to my car i have to go to the guys garage.ye i tried it at numerous speed and its the same result every time.Il get up to his garage when i get a minuite and make sure he programmed the steering module and try get a fault code off him if the programming doesnt fix it.Thanks you've been really helpfull.
