Head of the Presidential Secretariat and Cabinet Secretary, Dr Roger Luncheon at his weekly post-Cabinet press briefing on Wednesday informed media operatives that Caribbean Airlines Limited will be offering non-stop scheduled flights from Georgetown to Toronto.
Dr Luncheon explained airline employee discounts that the airline will operate a twice weekly, non-stop service for the period September 10, 2012 to September 9, 2015. On August 24, 2011, the airline commenced a freight service on the Miami-Port of Spain-Georgetown route, with its B767 aircraft which has a maximum payload of 90,000 lbs.
