We received the following press release this afternoon with news about a new French restaurant coming to town. The space adjacent to the Holiday Inn on 10th Street in the South Side has changed hands many times over the past few years, but this one sounds pretty darn good!
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (June 26, 2012) - A new, French-inspired brasserie will begin taking disney cruise line store shape this July in the space next to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on S. 10th St. on the South Side. Owner Dave DeSimone, a well-known wine writer and radio host, says Bridge Ten Brasserie will take over the space and open the bar and patio to guests in July. After completing changes in the main dining room over the summer, the fully renovated space will have a grand opening in early September.
The architectural firm Edge Studio disney cruise line store will provide design services and Guardian Construction Management Services will oversee the renovations. Expected seating disney cruise line store at capacity will be about 125 with additional seating on the patio.
Pittsburghers and out of town guests will find a relaxed, yet upscale authentic brasserie with professional service and a menu specializing in French classics, DeSimone disney cruise line store said. We will also feature a fun selection of French regional wines exclusive to Bridge Ten Brasserie as well as French beers and ciders on tap and in bottles.
Chef Shawn Carlson, a Pennsylvania Institute of CulinaryArts disney cruise line store graduate and former Executive Chef for Toni Pais, owner of the former Baum Vivant in Shadyside, will be Bridge Ten Brasserie s Executive Chef.
The French-born David Cesaro will handle the MaƮtre D s role. Cesaro trained in Switzerland before working at Le Bernardin in New York City. He also owned the acclaimed French bistro, L Ardoise in New York.
In keeping with its theme of Flavors of France, each month Bridge disney cruise line store Ten Brasserie plans to offer special menu items and prix fixe dinners featuring French regional food, wine, beer and spirits. September s menu will highlight disney cruise line store Provence.
