I just talked to my sister this weekend whose husband owns his own business. His drafting company requires him to travel a lot. He is currently located in St. Croix and they frequently experience loss of connectivity to the internet and even power.
His Needs: He needs to go to a restaurant and get food. He needs a rental car, and he needs cash. He even needs to turn in his timesheet! All of these are inconveniences that we all have had to put up with while we travel from time to time. We just work through them and get ourselves past them as fast as we can, right? WRONG!
Virtual Assistants can help with this traveling ordeal. Business Travelers, whether you are the CEO of your own major corporation or a working fort lauderdale car rentals stiff, you shouldn't have to put up with inconveniences anymore. Virtual Assistants are so cheap and what is it worth to be at your best while you travel? Choose a Virtual Assistant who covers your own specific needs, whether it is find a rental car in St. Croix, or write that presentation that has had you baffled since you took on the job.
While you are traveling, wouldn't it be nice to know that you had reservations already made, a drink waiting at your table and your appetizer already on order? How efficient would you look to your potential client? How impressed would your boss be? How much would you spend for that? Less than $100. Wouldn't it be worth it? Would your boss approve such an expense? If it meant a large account, probably.
So, back to St. Croix. If you were my bother-in-law, here's how it would work for you: You call a Virtual Assistant company on the last battery power you have on your cellphone providing the address of your hotel and most immediate need: lunch. The VA locates a restaurant for him within walking distance. Makes reservations and even prepays for him, or arranges for the restaurant to deliver if possible.
