We enjoyed every minute we spent in the Cove Cottage. It was a perfect little place that was beautifully restored and cared for by the owner. Linda had every thing you might possibly need handy and ready for our use. There was a comfy bed and even an extra one if necessary. The view and setting were just amazing and the town of Wickford was absolutely charming. We have enjoyed many accommodations provided by individual owners across park south hotel new york the USA but I can't think of any place we've stayed that topped this great cottage.

We spent our mornings strolling through Wickford with its historic homes and numerous harbor views and the evenings reclining park south hotel new york on Adirondack chairs on the expansive lawn which slopes down to the cove, replete with ducks, swans and geese. The location of Cove Cottage allowed us easy access to other areas of interest in Rhode Island including Newport, Watch Hill, Naragansett, Bristol, Providence---all of which we visited returning each night to our own perfect cottage. Beginning with the welcome basket of snacks, fruit, coffee and teas to the availability of fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden, Linda, the owner, provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay and we're already planning our return.
A charming park south hotel new york coveside cottage within walking distance to all of Wickford's delightful attractions; antique shops, waterside restaurants, bookstore...and so much more! Beautifully decorated, immaculately kept cottage with a cozy porch, park south hotel new york lovely patio, hammock for lazing, kayaks, and even a pair of swans to watch from the adirondacks. Our hosts, Linda David, live right next door and are delightful, helpful, and accommodating. David even introduced us to his new private billiards' club. We can't wait to return for a lesson!
We spent one week for our honeymoon at Cove Cottage and could not have asked for a more idyllic park south hotel new york setting! The cottage is absolutely gorgeous both on the inside and out. The furnishings are impeccable, yet the cottage has the coziest feel you could ever imagine. And the master bed is comfortable beyond words! The yard is charming, and the perfect place to kick back on a lazy afternoon. We fished in the cove, fed the ducks and geese, and launched kayaks (which Linda and David generously park south hotel new york lend guests) just yards from the cottage.
The village of Wickford is reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting, with cute shops and cafes, and great places to grab a bite and watch boats in the harbor. park south hotel new york It's serene and peaceful, yet only a short drive from Newport.
park south hotel new york We enjoyed a weeks vacation in the charming village of Wickford at beautiful Cove Cottage. The owner, Linda, who lives right next door is a pleasure to know and she will do whatever she can to be sure that your stay is the most enjoyable ever. Most of our weather while there was quite hot and humid. The cottages central air conditioner kept the temperature cool and comfortable inside.
Cove cottage is impeccable, extremely comfortable, attractively decorated and well-appointed with superior appliances, and kitchen necessities. We purchased fresh shrimp, lobsters, steamers, and tuna at the village harbor fish market. Just couldnt get enough! We ate at the table on the stone patio most evenings and enjoyed watching the swans and ducks on Academy Cove. Linda has a vegetable garden and shared her bounty of squash with us which made a nice addition to our dinners. We were also invited to pick the blueberries along her garden fence.
We would recommend this cottage to anyone who appreciates fine things in a rental cottage. This cottage is truly delightful and is exceptionally different from the regular run of the mill rental cottage.
We stayed in Cove Cottage park south hotel new york for a week and enjoyed it very much. The owners, who are very nice and accommodating, park south hotel new york live next door. The cottage is small but immaculate and very well appointed, with top-of-the line appliances, linens, towels. etc. It is one block off the main drag and the shops and restaurants are all nearby. And the back yard on Academy Cove is peaceful and serene, especially when the swams visit.
Stayed for four heavenly nights in Cove Cottage over Easter of 2008. Were amazed by the beauty and attention to detail in the very fine renovation of this historic cottage. Anything park south hotel new york and everything we could need was supplied had we decided to stay for months. The house was immaculate. The antiques and decor detail stunning. The grounds park south hotel new york lovely, including the swans that graced the cove .
Linda and Dave were so gracious, even had snacks, and flowers in the cottage to welcome us. Fresh coffed beans, cereal park south hotel new york and fruit for the morning. Guests should be able to climb stairs as both bedrooms are on the second story. A washer and dryer are in the down stairs bath, a nice extra for guest, such as we, from faraway in Texas. The warm fluffy robes provided were spa quality. Shopping in
We hope to return here soon and recommend it highly. Much prefer the privacy and beauty of this to a B B. There was a desk with computer connections for your lap top. Were we novelists ,we could picture settling in and writing for weeks.
I stayed at the Cove Cottage for 4 days in the winter to get away from the city and relax. I found the newly refurbished house charming, decorated in warm colors and all sorts of items from all over the world it felt very comfortable and homey. Linda, the owner went out of her way to make it comfortable and had fruits and snacks for me available even special foods from my country, Germany. Everything is in walking distance from the house, Great vacation spot and easy to get to any place in Rhode Island
We came from old England, UK to New England but found a life style we haven't had at home for a long time: a quaint, picturesque and quiet town, courteous driving, park south hotel new york a leisurely pace of life, friendly locals, and lots of community events.
park south hotel new york The cottage was well equipped, especially park south hotel new york the kitchen and we found so much good food from Lobsters (from the hut by the harbour, they will cook them for you if you want) to food from round the world from Dave's park south hotel new york supermarket. Opportunities for eating out in the evening were limited to one restaurant and one take-away.
My family of 4 stayed in Cove Cottage over Thanksgiving. What a magical place! The cottage was immaculate, tastefully decorated and had EVERYTHING we needed to prepare our holiday meal. Wickford is such a walkable villiage that we parked our car the day we arrived and never got back in it until we were packed to leave four days later. All that you could want and more is within steps of your door. The owners are friendly and helpful. They thought of everything and made us feel at home. They even promised us a sail on the bay so we will definitely return. We would recommend Cove Cottage to our friends and family with total confidence.
park south hotel new york The house is charming and the decor is just right - lovely, park south hotel new york but comfortable. Linda and Dave, the owners, were very helpful. The mattress in the master bedroom park south hotel new york was so comfortable that we are thinking of getting one for home. It was refreshing stay in a house where you could walk to everything!
Our favorite was the yard. Although the house is right in the village and on the street, the fence, with the proverbial garden gate, gave us complete privacy. Due to the unseasonably warm weather, we were able to eat breakfast, park south hotel new york lunch and dinner on the stone patio with the seven foot cranes watching over us. We also launched the kayaks from the backyard and had some great paddles in the harbor and Wickford Cove. It was also wonderful to just sit in the Adirondack chairs and read or day dream.
From the outside, the cottage could have been plucked out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The backwater cove that the cottage sits on is rarely without a blue heron or snowy egret. Every morning, I slid a kayak (the house comes with them!) into the still waters, paddled under the town bridge into the harbor, and explo
