We had the most positive service experience in our 20-plus years of RVing at Pete s in S. Burlington- We have a Monaco Diplomat, and had suffered a major failure of a power transfer switch, with a near fire. Not only did Pete s take us in on Monday morning, they had the part in stock, and put a tech on it right away, and we were back on the road in three hours, good as new. The service writer, Ed, was cheerful, the tech was competent, and checked with us several times during the repair, and we were made to feel as part of the family. The entire staff kept asking if we were okay, or needed anything, and I would heartily recommend this dealer to anyone in the area. Thanks how to be a travel agent Pete s for putting a smile on our face, we were sure we would be down for a week!" Jim M. from Elkton, FL

Answer (thanks how to be a travel agent to RV Lifestyle Consultant Randy Murray): When the forecast calls for a super-hot or humid day, your best bet is to start the air conditioner (A/C) in the morning and run all day. Set the fan to high, close all windows, vents, and draw the shades to keep the sun out. This is always a challenge with the kids, but also try to keep the door closed as much as possible. If your A/C is equipped with a Quick-Cool isolator, use it to concentrate the cold air in the living room and kitchen during the day, and sleeping areas at night.
