We stayed the 1st week of August with our 4 children & had a blast! We love the house, the beach front & the location was lovely. Having to adjust to only 1 bathroom was a bit challenging at times, but certainly not a real hardship. Also, being in the woods, in an older home, we encountered mice, but we learned to deal. The only reason this rental did not rate 5 stars is because the microwave was out of commission the week we were there, & we really, really noticed the lack--especially when it came to warming stuff up for the kids. The weather turned cold & wet the last 2 days we were there & so the cable TV, internet & DVD player was heaven sent when we were house bound for so long.
We also really enjoyed Sylvan Lake, the canoe & diving broadway theater tickets ny dock. The water is warm, the beach is sandy and the shallow area close by was perfect for our 5 year old. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place, especially when considering the price. Hopefully, we'll be back next year!
What a perfect setting for our family vacation getaway! We enjoyed the clean Lake for swimming, canoeing & boating. The Enchanted Cottage was very nice, secluded & well furnished. The views of Sylvan Lake were awesome! The Large screened in porch was a great addition to this "Fun cottage". The outdoor deck is very large & useful for our dining out pleasure~ We took a few bike rides around both Sylvan & Emerald Lake..Great scenery & exercise for all! The town of Newaygo is just minutes broadway theater tickets ny away for any needed supplies,etc. Jimmys Roadhouse was a Great choice for our dinner out night. We would surely recommend Enchanted Cottage for anyone looking to find beauty, privacy & relaxation. Many Special Memories made here... :) Thanks!
