Well, life has been pretty hectic but with pretty good results. Last week our roofing material came into the lumber yard and my dad came out and starting wiring my garage and the new granary. I can t tell you how happy both of those things made me. Then, my cousin (CS) came back out and helped install the new little red roof. And now, he s never coming back. Seriously, I don t think roofing was his thing, too much slippery, hanging on for dear life kind of stuff. I don t blame him, I wasn t a big fan either- pillar concert tour dates but it sure looks good. Take a look for yourself
Day one had me mostly in the kitchen, but day two, my husband had to go back to work which meant I was needed on the roof. I was sore in places that have never thought possible. But, after two days and tons of work, the roof is complete and the granary has power. Two gigantic steps forward- pillar concert tour dates made possible by CS, Hubby and Grandpa- three highly skilled and hard working men!
The next step is to get the siding ordered, windows and a door. We ve decided to keep the door opening small like the original- 24 wide so that will take a couple of weeks to arrive as it s not standard. I have to also get on the phone and line up someone to spray urethane foam insulation on the ceiling. We had that done in our house which has worked really well for us. It means you have lots of headroom and no venting is necessary. Anyway, this week it s back to laundry, a web design project pillar concert tour dates and gardening. Have a great holiday weekend!
