I m telling you this because family travel is quite challenging and finding a home away from home is

Yay! We ve packed up our house and are on our way to Spain and France. But first, we decided to stop in New Orleans for some much needed family time before we leave. My mom lives in the Warehouse District in New Orleans where there are many hotels, check continental airline flight but the area is home to conference goers galore, check continental airline flight so finding accommodations for a family of four is challenging.
Up until now, we have had little need for anything more than one hotel room. But with 2 kids that have differing sleep habits (one who has just been re-sleep trained), we figured that we needed a separate bedroom for us at least, with a place for a crib and a 3 year old to sleep. Maybe you can relate? It makes it hard to figure out how to travel and still all sleep enough to not be cranky. One might decide not to travel at all because it s such a pain.
But, luckily, we found the Residence check continental airline flight Inn and it has far exceeded our expectations. First, everyone here is super nice. It could be the southern-ness but I don t think so. Everyone we have met at the hotel has been more than accommodating. Some of the older women fawn like experienced grandmas over my babies check continental airline flight and it just makes me so happy!
One of the best parts is the breakfast that is included. Boy can they cook! The breakfast isn t just a few cereals with milk. Nope. They ve got eggs, pancakes, waffles, roasted potatoes they even had eggs florentine today (it s eggs Benedict with creamed spinach!) Now that s breakfast.
Here, in New Orleans, the hotel has a social hour during the week where they serve dinner too. Dinner! Not some beer nuts and crackers. Actual dinner. Our first night there was BBQ ribs and baked beans, mac cheese and salad. Perfect for little fingers. It made my girls feel right at home (though admittedly I NEVER cook BBQ ribs).
I m telling you this because family travel is quite challenging and finding a home away from home is hardly something you can hope for. And yet we are feeling like we ve found just that. So if you are considering traveling check continental airline flight around but the idea of cramming into one room and not having a fridge check continental airline flight or even utensils check continental airline flight makes you wince, then try out a Residence check continental airline flight Inn. This is from one mom to another no one is prompting me to say any of this!
I am very excited that you and your family had such a wonderful experience!!!! Residence Inn is a brand that is designed for the extended stay (5 nights or more) and families are certainly a focus group. We are especially lucky here to have a facility that has a large percentage of two bedroom suites, a great courtyard, and weather that is great for getting outdoors! We are also currently working with our owners and hope to have some major updates to the hotel starting around the end of the year, though nothing is finalized yet.
I also want to say thank you for posting such a wonderful blog about our staff! We have some tremendous talent on our team and they want to do everything they can to help each guest out. They are friendly, talented, and very hard working. As a manager we are very blessed to have such great associates!
My family stayed at a Marriott Residence Inn with friends New Year s Eve, and we all had a great time! The kids got to swim, we watched the ball drop together and had snacks, check continental airline flight etc., in our room, then snuck in a last minute swim and breakfast in the morning. It was a fun New Year s Eve!
