Having looked through your Private Europe website and blog we decided to contribute a weekend of luxury and adventure in London. Travelling to London via Heathrow Airport for a weekend a great choice believe it or not is to stay based at the airport. You get to see so much more, enjoy London and Windsor, both are so different, it makes for a fun filled weekend.
Use the website: www.cuinheathrow.com for information, booking hotels (no commissions), arranging ford explorer cruise control button parts transfers and deciding which restaurants and pubs to use. Their London website is still fairly basic but likewise it is has some good, useful information. Luckily had a few quid to blow so we opted for a more luxurious stay, but you can use these guys to find the best luxury or a really cheap basic option. You cannot believe the deals you can find at Heathrow on the weekend, 4 and 5 star hotels at really ford explorer cruise control button parts great prices.
We arrived on Friday night and stayed at the Marriott Hotel Heathrow ford explorer cruise control button parts which was just incredible value for money. Awesome hotel really close to the airport (about a mile, you can hear the planes outside, ford explorer cruise control button parts inside the rooms are really quiet) and you just can't believe the weekend deal we got, £199.00 for a double with breakfast ford explorer cruise control button parts and its five star man (book well in advance).
Arrange a personal 'meet and greet at the airport with Heathrow Chauffeurs . We got met at terminal 5 and transferred to the Marriott. ford explorer cruise control button parts The car waited while we checked in, just took ten minutes and we went straight onto London (cost us just £65). London is such a great destination, full of life and so much to do. Try a little traditional pub called Ye Olde Cheddar Cheese which is just unbelievable, like walking back in history. Coming back to Heathrow the tube runs till about midnight and then a slow bus runs through the night or get a private cab.
Saturday was all London, real tourist style, what an amazing city, just so much to see and do, but we were knackered by late afternoon. Headed back to Heathrow to try The Ostrich ford explorer cruise control button parts restaurant and pub in Colnbrook, located ford explorer cruise control button parts in a quaint little English village, whose claim to fame is a real ghost. The Ostrich is the 3rd oldest inn in England, apparently Dick Turpin used to drink there. It is on the old main road that linked London to Bath, such a rich history and what a great restaurant and pub. The George pub across the road is a bit of dive but good for a giggle with the locals, they had live music on.
The next day it was the Windsor tour, what a contrast from the hustle and bustle of London. Windsor Castle is a must do, the changing of the guard was great and we did the open top bus tour although ford explorer cruise control button parts to be honest could do without that. Windsor is small town with a mix of old and new, lots of souvenir shops (Rip Off). Lunch was at Browns in Windsor which was really good; bit pricey but good service and excellent food, the restaurant overlooks the Thames River.
We sadly had to catch a plane that evening but we will be back and can highly recommend a London trip with a Heathrow stay over, value for money and a taste of more, overall Heathrow on the weekend is well worth checking out. Oh yes, avoid the Hoppa bus it takes forever and costs £8 for two passengers, a taxi costs a bit more but so much more convenient.
