Bob Jordan, Southwest Airlines Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and AirTran Air




Southwest Airlines has taken another step forward with the merger of AirTran into the Southwest Airlines network. The new routes with the fall schedule come just in time to schedule a well needed vacation.
Two daily non-stop flights from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International ( ATL ) to San Francisco Intl ( SFO ) are being converted hotels in disneyland as this city pair is transitioned from AirTran to Southwest.  Additionally, Southwest will begin operating Atlanta ( ATL ) to Orlando ( MCO ) once daily, with AirTran continuing hotels in disneyland their 9 daily non-stops in the market until more flights are converted to Southwest.
In addition to the new Atlanta routes, Southwest will initiate nonstop flights between Detroit Metro ( DTW ) and Las Vegas ( LAS ) with the fall schedule.  Additional routes will be converted from AirTran to Southwest Airlines as the merger continues.
Bob Jordan, Southwest Airlines Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and AirTran Airways President, hotels in disneyland said, Southwest and AirTran are continuing to make schedule additions and adjustments to provide the best flight schedule possible for Customers.   Jordan continues, We are looking for ways to maximize our fleet, our operations, and our low fares to give Customers more options when traveling.
Introductory fares are being offered on the new flights and low fares may be purchased between today, February 20, 2012, and February 27, 2012, for travel between September 30, 2012, and November 2, 2012.
